We’re proud to announce that the PunchTab-powered Green Day Numero Uno Fan Contest has been announced as a 5th Annual Shorty Industry Award Finalist.

Green Day’s “Numero Uno Fan” contest generated more than 165,000,000 social impressions and 179,000 social actions by rewarding fans for engaging in all kinda of ways. Fans were encouraged to complete various social actions. Each action earned fans points to move up a leader board and toward the grand prize: tickets to the Green Day concert at Irving Plaza in NYC presented by Nokia Music and AT&T.

And the results were pretty darn impressive.

- Wicked smart.

- Obsessive about marketing and marketing trends in the social, mobile and digital landscapes. Writes about said obsession.

- Experience with traditional demand generation programs such as live events, webinars and whitepapers.

- Experience driving leads through social media

- Looking to join a start-up with incredible growth and even more potential

- 3+ years driving demand generation campaigns

- Experience with Pardot or other marketing automation solutions a plus

-Xbox FIFA skills a bonus.

-SF Giants fans encouraged, but Dodger fans need not apply.

The Role:

- Write for, edit and manage contributors for our new blog focused on the digitally engaged consumer.

- Help manage our research agenda around consumer behavior to be re-purposed into webinars, whitepapers & infographics.

- Manage day-to-day demand generation programs using our marketing automation solution, Pardot.

- Ensure we meet the monthly targets for qualified leads.

- Work closely with sales to ensure we’re following up on leads.

- Think outside the box and always push the envelope.

The AWS re:Invent conference in Las Vegas includes “Launched!” a Live Stage environment for selected start-up companies to launch their products and services publicaly for the first time. The AWS start-up team spent months narrowing the field of fantastic companies down to eight. Each company represented unique and elegant solutions in the areas of media, big data, developer platforms and crowd-sourcing helping to demonstrate the innovation possible with AWS….

And PunchTab is one of those elite 8! We’re excited to head to Vegas and present on stage with some other killer start ups. In case you missed this morning’s TechCrunch piece, PunchTab has some news!

The new PunchTab iPhone application is now available for free download in the app store.

We’re now powering more than 1,000 giveaways every month, many of which were previously available only on Facebook. But you spoke, and we listened. And based on demand from our publishers and end-users, you wanted us to extend the ability to enter PunchTab powered giveaways to your mobile devices.

Done and done. Brands on the PunchTab platform now have more visibility among consumers by making their giveaways available to iPhone users through this new app. And for you end-users, it just got easier to find and enter giveaways.
